  • How can I delete my account?

Log into your NGO classifieds account as usual. Before you delete your account, you have to delete your ads. However the “settings” option within the menu bar at top of the page and select “Delete account”.

 

  • How can I find out if there are newly posted ads related to my searches on NGO Classifieds?

On NGO Classifieds, you have the option to save your searches. Just indicate all your search specifications and then type in your email address and select the email frequency at the bottom of the same page. 

You can now expect to receive emails about new ads related to this search via email.

You can also manage your saved searches under “My NGO Classifieds”. After logging in, select “Alerts” from the menu and click on it. From the “Alerts” overview, you may view, edit or even delete your saved searches.

 

  • What are my favorite ads and how can I use it?

My Favorite Ads is another free service for our NGO Classifieds users. It allows you to save ads that you find interesting and review them at a later time. To add classified ads to your list of favorites, simply click on the star beside the ad’s title, or on the mobile version, click on the “Save” button. A second click on the star/button will remove the ad from your favorites list.  At the top right corner of the desktop version you will see the same star icon with a number next to it that indicates the number of postings that you have added to your list of favorites. Clicking on that star will let you see your full list of favorite ads.

 

  • Why do I have to register?

A registration has many advantages and is necessary to be able use NGO Classifieds to the full extent and gain access to your “My NGO Classifieds” account section. When you register, you can post your own ads and save ads to your favorites list. You can also rate other users, access the messaging center to send and answer questions, and much more. 
We also need your email address to keep you updated about your ads and inform you of messages from other users.

 

  • How can I create an account?

Registering on NGO Classifieds is free. Creating an account just takes a few steps. Click on “My NGO Classifieds” in the top-right corner of the page. Then click “Register in 20 seconds”. There you can register with either your email address, or your Facebook or Google+ account. If you register with your email address, you will then need to confirm your email address and create a username and password.

 

  • What types of accounts are there?

In addition to the basic account, you can also purchase a NGO Classifieds Premium Account. As a Premium member you have many advantages, for example, your ads will be highlighted with a Premium label. More information can be found 

 

  • I have registered with my email address, but I can’t login.

To be able to log in, you must first confirm your email address. You’ll receive an email from us after registration prompting you to do this. Click on the button in the email to confirm your registration. You will then be redirected to a form where you have to choose your username and password, and agree to our terms of use. After this, your registration is complete and you can log in with your chosen password. 

If you have not received a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If you have received an email, but the confirmation button does not take you to the correct page, please copy the full link of that page from the URL bar at the top of your browser and paste it into a new window.

If the email is also not in your spam folder, or copying the link also does not work, please contact our  c=a_5&form">Customer Support.

 

  • What can I do if I forget my password?

To get a new password, click on “Log in” below “My NGO Classifieds the left menu bar, click on “Can’t access my account” and enter your email address or username. We will then send you an email with a link that allows you to enter a new password. In the future, you can use your new password to log in.

 

  • How can I change my password?

Log into your account, click “My NGO Classifieds” in the top right hand corner. Then click “Settings”, where you can then click “Change Password”. Please type in your old password, followed by your new one.

 

  • Can I change the email address or username linked to my account?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your email address of username after having registered on NGO Classifieds. You do have two alternatives: 

1) Delete the account tied to your old email address and create a new one for free (Ads will also need to be created again).

2) You can add additional email addresses to your account. To do this, log into “My NGO Classifieds” as usual and hover over the “Settings” option within the menu bar at the top of the page. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on “Add Email Address” and then provide the new email address you would like to add to your account.

  • How can I contact a NGO classifieds employee?

if you have any questions regarding an ad, your account, or if you encounter problems using NGO Classifieds, use our contact form to get in touch with a NGO Classifieds customer support employee.

If you are referring to a specific ad, please make sure you provide us with the ad ID which you can find to the left under the title of the ad, or send us the link to the ad .

 

  • How do I know if I received a new message?

Besides the usual email notification we send you, you will also notice when you log in that there is a message icon beside the welcome note on the upper right side of the page.
On your “My NGO Classifieds” page, you have an overview of the number of new messages you have, along with your ad statistics.
In case you are still logged in but you are browsing another tab, you can set extra notifications sound and a desktop notification.
To enable the desktop notification, you have to make sure that your browser settings allow pop-ups.

* You will not receive notifications for new messages added to conversations you have already sent to the Trash folder. For this reason, we advise you to constantly check your Trash folder in case of message follow-ups.

 

  • What do the check marks mean under the messages?

One check mark means that the message has been sent.
Two check marks mean that the message has been delivered to the recipient.
Two blue check marks mean that the message has been read by the recipient.
